About the education and certification:

 - This course is available to professional photographers or those who have an interest in learning how to photograph specifically in an infant bereavement situation. 

 - The course will also cover how to work with bereaved parents for photographers and non-photographers. 

 - The course is brand new this year and the cost is $499 per person. This price will increase after the introductory price. 

  - During the online course, you will learn how to talk to families who are going through a loss, what equipment you need, how to photograph a baby during neonatal immersion photography, what camera and lighting is recommended, prop stores and items that are recommended, and many more items you will find helpful. 

About the instructors

 - This course provides teaching in the areas of baby handling, lighting and camera settings, the medical side of bereavement photography, neonatal immersion photography, how to get involved in your local hospital and more. Each instructional video is taught by an expert in the area they are instructing on. 

About the certification

 - The certification is an online course that will be available starting in June. It can be purchased at any time and at your own pace. If you have internet access, this course is available to you. 

 - Any person that is interested in any aspect of infant bereavement would benefit from this course. Photographers, LD Staff, NICU Staff, Antepartum Staff, Doulas, Loss/Bereavement parent, and more. 

 - Please note: This is not the hospital program, this is certification in working with families during bereavement. If your hospital purchases the full program, you will receive additional training through the program.
