We have received your submission and will contact you shortly. In the meantime, please see more information about this project below.
If your child is participating in the Hope Photo Video Project, here are some things you may need to know: - We come to you. Don't worry about making a trip to us, we are shooting in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses. - What type of photography is it? The majority of what we will capture during the shoot is documentary style. We would like to see your child doing things that they enjoy and that makes them happy. Whether that is playing video games, doing puzzles, playing with toys, reading, playing with a sibling, or just being held, we want to capture those beautiful moments. - Clothing. Whatever your child is comfortable in is what we prefer they wear. We don't want them to feel like this is a formal photo shoot with stiff uncomfortable clothing. - Permission. If applicable, please make sure that your child's nurse is informed of your upcoming photo shoot. If we are shooting at a Ronald McDonald House, we will need to gain permission from someone on the House staff prior to the shoot as well. - Photography. Once your photo gallery is ready, we will send you a link via email with the photos available for download. Please use discretion when sharing photos on social media as we do not want this project to be public until we have completed the video and are ready to launch it. All photography credit should go to the volunteer photographer, please make sure to include their information when posting any photos. - Session Time. The session will take usually an hour or less, however, your child is the number one priority and we will work around their schedule. Please let us know if the child needs a break, needs to be fed, or any other situation that would require a pause during the shoot. We will happily accomodate your child's needs.
